Understanding: Twitter Feeds

1. Twitter Account

Retrieve post from a single account. 

  • Requires twitter username 

2. Twitter Search

Retrieve public tweets that match your keywords.  

  • Add multiple keywords, hashtags, and mentions 
  • Filter by has a photo, video, links or text only 
  • Include / Exclude specific authors
  • Require that users are verified, authors
  • Include / Exclude secondary keywords
  • Filter by country or a radius around a specific point (ex. DIA)
  • Filter by language
  • Exclude retweets

3. Twitter Mentions

Retrieve mentions from a single Twitter account.

  • Requires twitter username 

4. Twitter Favorites

Retrieve favorites from a single Twitter account.

  • Requires twitter username 

5. Twitter Geo Search

Retrieve from latest content twitter searching by geolocation. 

  • Filter by country or a radius around a specific point (ex. DIA)
  • Add a hashtag 
  • Include / Exclude secondary keywords
  • Exclude retweets 
  • Filter by language 

6. Twitter Premium

This will count public tweets that matched your advanced tracking criteria to power data visualizations. The other Twitter feeds will work for most campaign hashtags, but Twitter Premium is needed for high volume terms like celebrity names like Johnny Depp or popular products names like iPad. This configuration needs to be added in the account to be available, please contact your CSM.

  • Add multiple terms, mentions, hashtags as primary criteria
  • Filter by has a photo, video, links or text only
  • Include / Exclude specific authors
  • Require that users are verified, authors
  • Include / Exclude secondary keywords
  • Filter by country or a radius around a specific point (ex. DIA)
