Introduction

Cookies help a website recognise returning users and help react to user’s preferences. Cheetah Experiences uses essential, functional cookies that are mainly used for fraud prevention purposes or privacy setting management - such as age gate or COPPA site restrictions.   • Purpose: For some experiences, users can login using a social network or our customer's own login system. This cookie helps us return the user back to the right step in the experience after they have logged in.

  • Data held: Contains the URL that the user will be returned to after signing in

Cookie name ngx.auth.redirect.provider

  • Purpose: For some experiences, users can login using a social network or our customer's own login system. This cookie helps identify the social network or website provider that the user logged in with.

Cookie name ngx.auth.redirect.responseObject

  • Purpose: For logging in to a social network. If no reference is found for the original opening window after redirection, then assume we are in a state whereby the browser redirected the campaign page, rather than opened a new window. This can happen when a user is browsing a campaign using an in-app browser on IOS (eg Facebook app, Twitter app) and possibly other situations too.

Cookie name <campaign id OR account id>_<multi-optin-remote-id>

  • Purpose: When progressive filtering is enabled on a multi-optin, we store the user’s submitted choices in cookies and local storage.  If filtering is set to account level, the account id is used.  If filtering is set to campaign level, the campaign id is used.
